GSC Rank Tracker

Daily rank monitoring with visibility scoring and SERP volatility detection.

Why we built it

Rank trackers charge per keyword to re-scrape SERPs that Google already reports on for free. Search Console has the position data; the problem is that nobody opens it daily, and a raw position table hides whether a move actually matters. We built the daily read on top of the API, with a score that weights movement by how much traffic sits behind it.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Pull yesterday's positions

The Search Console API returns position, clicks, and impressions for the tracked keyword set every morning at 6AM EET. One property per client, no per-keyword fees.

  2. 02

    Score visibility, flag volatility

Each keyword's position is weighted by its impressions, so a two-spot drop on a high-traffic query moves the score more than a ten-spot drop on a query nobody searches. When day-over-day movement breaks out of the rolling band, the run gets flagged as a volatility event.

  3. 03

    Send the movers

A morning Telegram message carries the visibility score, the volatility flag, and the biggest winners and losers. The full daily series appends to a Google Sheet for trend work.
