Sites silently lose URLs all the time. CMS migrations, content team cleanups, accidental noindex rules. By the time the traffic loss shows up in GSC, the change is weeks old. A daily diff of the sitemap surfaces the problem the morning after it happens.
How it runs

Pull the sitemap
Crawls the sitemap fresh every night at 3AM EET. Stores the snapshot with timestamps for downstream comparison.

Diff against yesterday
Compares the new snapshot against the prior day for dropped URLs, added URLs, and status-code changes on the priority page set.
- 03
Log and alert
Writes the full diff to a Google Sheet for the change-log. Sends an email summary when anything material moves on the priority set.
